General Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Scope of Application
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and stays at LOIDLs Guesthouse, Bachgasse 1, 4801 Traunkirchen.
1.2 By making a booking, the contractual partner accepts these General Terms and Conditions.
§ 2 Definitions
Accommodation provider
LOIDLs Guesthouse as the operator of the accommodation.
Guest
Any person who uses the accommodation.
Contractual partner
The natural or legal person who makes the booking.
Accommodation contract
The contract on accommodation concluded between the accommodation provider and the contractual partner.
§ 3 Conclusion of Contract and Payment
3.1 The accommodation contract comes into effect upon the written booking confirmation issued by the accommodation provider.
3.2 The total amount is invoiced before your arrival and must be paid in full by bank transfer before arrival.
3.3 Once your payment has been received, you will receive a payment confirmation and the invoice by e-mail.
3.4 Payment on site is not possible.
3.5 The agreed cancellation conditions apply regardless of the time of payment.
§ 4 Arrival and Departure
4.1 Check-in is possible on the day of arrival between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
4.2 A later arrival is possible by prior arrangement. In this case, you will receive the access details for the key safe or the self-check-in system.
4.3 Before your arrival, the online check-in must be completed in full for all travellers.
A valid official photo ID is required for the lead traveller. For all other travellers, name and date of birth are sufficient.

4.4 The accommodation is available from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival.
4.5 On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by 10:00 am at the latest.
§ 5 Withdrawal from the Accommodation Contract (Cancellation Conditions)
Withdrawal by the accommodation provider
5.1 If the guest does not arrive by 6:00 pm on the agreed day of arrival and no later arrival has been agreed, there is no obligation to provide accommodation.
5.2 The accommodation provider may terminate the contract for objectively justified reasons.
Withdrawal by the contractual partner
High season
For stays during the months of July and August as well as during the Austrian Christmas holidays, bookings are non-refundable.
In the event of cancellation, no-show or early departure, the entire booking amount will be charged.
Rest of the year
During the rest of the year, free cancellation is possible up to 14 days before arrival.
In the event of a later cancellation, no-show or early departure, the entire booking amount will be charged.
Prevented arrival
If the guest is unable to arrive due to extraordinary and unforeseeable circumstances (e.g. natural disasters or official measures), the statutory provisions apply.
§ 6 Substitute Accommodation
Should the booked accommodation be unavailable for unforeseeable reasons, the accommodation provider is entitled to provide equivalent substitute accommodation.
§ 7 Rights of the Contractual Partner
The contractual partner is entitled to use the rented accommodation and the generally accessible facilities of the house in accordance with their intended purpose.
§ 8 Obligations of the Contractual Partner
8.1 The contractual partner undertakes to treat the accommodation with care.
8.2 The contractual partner is liable for any damage caused by the contractual partner or their fellow travellers.
8.3 The apartment may only be used by the persons named at the time of booking.
8.4 The online check-in must be completed in full before arrival.
8.5 An absolute smoking ban applies in all apartments and all indoor areas.
8.6 Parties, events and larger gatherings are not permitted.
8.7 Quiet hours apply daily from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. During this time, please keep noise to a considerate room level.
§ 9 Rights of the Accommodation Provider
9.1 The accommodation provider is entitled to invoice all agreed services in accordance with the applicable prices.
9.2 Additional services (e.g. interim cleaning or special services) may be charged separately.
§ 10 Obligations of the Accommodation Provider
10.1 The accommodation provider undertakes to provide the booked accommodation in the agreed condition.
10.2 Additional services not included in the overnight price will be itemised separately.
§ 11 Liability for Items Brought In
The liability of the accommodation provider is governed by the statutory provisions (§§ 970 et seq. of the Austrian Civil Code, ABGB).
Liability for valuables, cash or other items of value is accepted exclusively to the extent provided for by law.
§ 12 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the accommodation provider is not liable for slight negligence.
Liability for indirect damage, consequential damage or loss of profit is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
§ 13 Pets
13.1 Dogs are only permitted with prior registration.
13.2 A maximum of one dog per apartment is permitted.
13.3 The applicable dog fee will be charged in accordance with the current price list.
13.4 The dog owner is liable for any damage caused by the animal.
§ 14 Extension of the Stay
There is no entitlement to an extension of the stay.
An extension is only possible subject to availability and with the express consent of the accommodation provider.
§ 15 Termination of the Accommodation Contract
The accommodation contract ends automatically upon expiry of the agreed duration of the stay.
In the event of early departure, there is no entitlement to a refund of amounts already paid.
The accommodation provider is entitled to terminate the contract with immediate effect for good cause, in particular in the event of:
significant damage to the accommodation,
repeated disregard of the house rules,
non-payment of agreed services,
criminal acts or grossly improper conduct.
§ 16 Illness or Death of a Guest
In the event of illness or death, the relevant statutory provisions of Austrian law apply.
§ 17 Place of Performance, Jurisdiction and Choice of Law
Austrian law applies exclusively.
The place of performance is Traunkirchen and Ebensee.
For entrepreneurs, the court with subject-matter jurisdiction in Wels is agreed as the place of jurisdiction, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
For consumers, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
§ 18 Final Provisions
18.1 Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
18.2 The relevant statutory provisions of Austrian law apply.

18.4 Amendments or additions to these General Terms and Conditions must be made in writing.
