Petra and Christian warmly welcome you
Petra is the heart and soul of the house — she takes care of almost everything on site and creates the warm atmosphere. She furnished the apartments with great feeling. “I inherited that from my mother. She always said: not too much, not too little, and refreshingly different” (Petra).
After busy years as an international manager in the logistics industry, Christian longed for a fulfilling life back home. He discovered the house in Traunkirchen on a visit home and knew at once: “This is it. For us — and for our guests!”
Both were born in the Salzkammergut, returned to their homeland and want to make it a home for their guests too — because they are simply in love with the region. “In the middle stands a house. When you arrive there, you are home,” goes a song about Loidl’s Guesthouse. Griaß di! A warm welcome!
A House with Character
Dark timber, hand-crafted green balcony ornaments, a forecourt with its own fountain — our house in the centre of Traunkirchen was renovated with great attention to detail. The carved balconies pick up the Salzkammergut's craft tradition, while modern, beautifully equipped apartments hide behind the historic facade. From the forecourt it's just 50 steps to the lake.
